Strategies to Elevate Workplace Communications for Supervisors is a practical, engaging session designed for supervisors, department heads, technical directors, and others working in BC’s film, television, performing arts, and live events industries. This training introduces core communication and emotional-intelligence skills while focusing on the unique dynamics of fast-paced, collaborative production environments. Participants learn clear, usable approaches for navigating difficult conversations, supporting team members during high-stress periods, and fostering respectful, effective day-to-day interactions. The training includes role-play demonstrations, along with concrete, ready-to-use communication strategies that leaders can immediately apply to strengthen safety, clarity, and trust in their workplace.
