Using ground-fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs)

Ground-fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) can prevent injuries and save lives when there is a leakage in an electrical current. They are required in many arts and entertainment productions, especially in temporary or outdoor worksites. This bulletin describes when and where GFCIs must be used, how they can be used effectively, and how to prevent them from being tripped inadvertently.
