Protecting Workers from Wildfire Smoke and Heat Stress
Protecting Workers from Wildfire Smoke and Heat Stress

With hotter and drier summers in B.C., the frequency and intensity of wildfires are increasing, putting workers at risk of smoke exposure. Employers are urged to assess wildfire smoke hazards, implement protective measures, and adapt their plans based on air quality and worker needs. Effective control strategies include monitoring air quality, adjusting work activities, and ensuring proper ventilation for both indoor and outdoor workers.
