Every year, Actsafe runs a week-long campaign focused on preventing workplace injuries related to a specific risk in BC’s Arts & Entertainment industry. The goal is to engage, educate and enable employers and workers in the film, performing arts and live events industry to make British Columbia the safest and healthiest arts & entertainment workplaces in the world.

Actsafe Injury Prevention (AIP) Event is coming back in May — and for the first time ever, we are going regional!
This year we’re turning up the volume on Hearing Safety! Whether you’re behind the scenes or on the stage, protecting your hearing is key to staying safe in the arts and entertainment industry. So we’re coming to you with everything you need to know about hearing safety — served with coffee and great conversations!
Here’s what’s in store:
- Free hearing tests with our mobile testing unit (spots are limited!)

- Safety advisors on-site for real-time guidance
