ACTSAFE INJURY PREVENTION Event 2026

Every year, Actsafe runs a focused campaign to help prevent workplace injuries related to a specific risk in BC’s Arts & Entertainment industry. Traditionally a week-long initiative, this campaign has now expanded to a month-long effort, with Actsafe visiting studios and performing arts centres throughout the month. The goal is to engage, educate and enable employers and workers in the film, performing arts and live events industry to make British Columbia the safest and healthiest arts & entertainment workplaces in the world.

We’re Back!

Actsafe Injury Prevention (AIP) Event is coming back in May/June!

This year we’re shining a spotlight on People Working Well. Whether you’re on set, on stage, or behind the scenes, fostering respect is essential to creating safe, healthy, and inclusive environments in the arts and entertainment industry. So we’re bringing you practical tools, insights, and conversations on respectful workplace culture—served with coffee and great conversations!
