ACTSAFE INJURY PREVENTION Event 2025

Every year, Actsafe runs a focused campaign to help prevent workplace injuries related to a specific risk in BC’s Arts & Entertainment industry. Traditionally a week-long initiative, this campaign has now expanded to a month-long effort, with Actsafe visiting studios and performing arts centres throughout the month. The goal is to engage, educate and enable employers and workers in the film, performing arts and live events industry to make British Columbia the safest and healthiest arts & entertainment workplaces in the world.

That’s a Wrap! AIP Events 2025 Are Now Over

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Actsafe Injury Prevention (AIP) Events—our first-ever regional edition!

In 2025, we turned up the volume on Hearing Safety—bringing conversations, free hearing tests, coffee, games, and swag to arts and entertainment professionals across B.C.

From Burnaby to Kelowna, Victoria to Vancouver, we connected with industry members, shared practical hearing health tips, and had some seriously great coffee along the way!

Here’s what was in store:

  • Free hearing tests with our mobile testing unit (spots are limited!) and free coffee from a coffee truck
  • Great conversations

  • Safety advisors on-site for real-time guidance
  • Fun games + awesome swag

We’re grateful to everyone who made this year’s events a success—and we can’t wait to see you again soon!
