TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS
In Canada, shippers, drivers, handlers, and receivers all must follow the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations. This Canada-wide system provides consistent and clear communication that helps to keep people, property, and the environment safe and secure. TDG is also regulated on the provincial/territorial level.
Everyone in the transportation and handling process must receive TDG training. Additional training is required for materials in classes 1, 6.2, and 7.
This course aims to give you the fundamentals of safely transporting dangerous goods by road, including understanding the system, staying safe, and responding to incidents.

Certification passing requirements
Learners complete knowledge checks throughout the course and a final exam consisting of 20 questions. An 80% score is required to earn a certificate of completion. The certificate includes topics covered, content owner/provider, issue and expiry dates, employer information, and signature sections for employee and employer.
