This quarter’s theme is Biological Hazards
Biological hazards are at forefront of everyone’s minds since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. What are they? How do we minimize the risks from them in our homes and in our workplaces? What biohazards can be found on production?
In this edition of Safety Scene, we answer these questions with articles about COVID-19, ‘cooties’ transferred during intimacy scenes, and what to do if you find a needle on set. You will also find an article on the risks associated with disinfectants and how to keep your workers safe when they are using these chemicals.
We hope that this edition of Safety Scene will help educate you on how to make your workplace—be it on a production, in the office, or at home—safer.
Remember to register for next month’s fifth annual Actsafe Entertainment Safety Conference, February 26–27, for as little as $0! You will find all the up-to-date information inside.
