Working Safely With Casting Resins Report

Dillon Consulting Limited (Dillon) was retained by I.A.T.S.E. Local 891 to develop safe work guidelines for film industry personnel related to working safely with casting resins.

This document can also be used as a guideline for minimizing the potential for exposure to other individuals in the studio or shop who are not working directly with casting resins and related products. A brief summary of potential routes of exposure and health hazards are outlined as well as how to control the potential for exposure to various casting resins by the use of engineering controls, administrative controls and
personal protective equipment.

Actsafe Safety Association thanks IATSE 891 for providing this report.
